Sass & Bide Pre Fall 2015

If you didn't already know that Sass & Bide founders Heidi Middleton & Sarah Jane Clarke had departed from the label, then this new collection would probably come as quite a surprise to you. If however you did know, then you'd understand the underlying "the girls have left the building" message that this collection represents for the new age of Sass & Bide. Gone are the boho-esq props, gone are the fresh neutral tones and gone are the colour splashed floaty silhouettes. Instead what remains are the roots of the 'too cool to care' Sass girl, who has dropped her hippie threads and embraced a Melbourne lifestyle mantra of 'black is better'. While there are still references to the brands heritage, overall the collection feels calm and mature, indicating a sense of control and contentment with where the brand is at and the direction they are about to embark upon. I'm into the effortlessness of this very wearable collection, and can't wait to see what FW15 holds for the newbies in the Sass & Bide drivers seat. stylesnooperdan sass & bide stylesnooperdan sass & bide stylesnooperdan sass & bide stylesnooperdan sass & bide stylesnooperdan sass & bide stylesnooperdan sass & bide stylesnooperdan sass & bide stylesnooperdan sass & bide stylesnooperdan sass & bideall pics via Style.com
